About Us
Mean Martin Manning for President is a
grassroots political action committee devoted to recruiting Mean Martin
Manning to run for President.
First we have to convince Mean Martin Manning to run for
President. Then we have to convince the public to vote for him.
How do we plan to do that? By getting you to
join us, that's how.
Platform
When Mean Martin Manning agrees to run for
President, he will make his own decisions, of course. It isn't like we could
tell him what to do even if we wanted to (and we don't want to--except for
the part about running for President). However, we do suggest the following
as his complete political platform:
"Everyone leaves everyone else alone."
Officers
President:
Jonathan Aldridge
Vice President:
Cassandra Sanchez
Treasurer:
Stephanie Weinberg
Secretary:
Ed O'Connell
Jonathan Aldridge co-founded Mean
Martin Manning for President after reading
Mean Martin Manning's story
and realizing that what this country needed, more than anything, was Manning
to run for President. He first learned about the man himself after some
girls in the off-campus apartment next door told him about Manning's
appearance on It's Dr. Karen.
Jonathan is a senior at the University of Texas majoring in history. He
plans to attend graduate school and pursue his doctorate with a focus on the
history of totalitarian ideologies.

Cassandra Sanchez is a co-founder of
Mean Martin Manning for President. Now a senior at New York College
majoring in architecture, Cassandra first saw Mean Martin Manning on
It's Dr. Karen in her junior
year. The next day, she received a failing grade on her apartment complex
project because her design, according to the professor, "did not
sufficiently encourage occupants to seek self-improvement." Several months
later she stumbled across a copy of
Mean Martin Manning
and started to see connections. She met Jonathan Aldridge in an online
discussion group, and the rest is history. Or will be.

Stephanie Weinberg is a sophomore at
the University of Miami double-majoring in business and accounting. One day
she plans to open her own business and build it into a nationwide chain.
Originally, she thought it was going to be a tanning salon, before
restrictions were placed on issuing new tanning salon licenses due to the
negative health consequences of getting a tan. Then she thought it might be
a boutique specializing in high-end audio components, but recent legislation
aimed at reducing audio assaults and hearing loss has made her reconsider.
She has postponed deciding on the kind of business to start until the
legislative dust has settled and she knows what's still legal. In the
meantime, she's doing what she can to tell people about
Mean Martin Manning.

Ed O'Connell was born and raised in
Philadelphia and works for the popular Tony's Steaks, one block from Drexel
University. You haven't lived until you've had one of their cheesesteaks. A
friend gave Ed a copy of Mean
Martin Manning's story, and he read it in one night. With legislators
considering imposing caps on fat and calories in restaurant servings, Ed
knows that what America needs now is Mean Martin Manning to run for
President. Contact Ed.
